Local ARG

What if Provo were the home of a new ARG?

Who would play? How long would they want to play? How much community interaction should it require or support?

That last question is the big one. I think it's the one piece of ARGs that I don't get. I'm a loner by nature, so I have a hard time grasping the social elements of these games. Why would I want to work with a bunch of strangers on some problem?

Target market. College students? My dad? Young marrieds?

Behavioral segmentation. Is there anything to that? Can I really say "appeals to people who like mystery and are willing to travel to odd local places and are tech-savvy?"

Mebbe.

Mostly, though, this post is just a test to make sure the blog is up and running properly again. (The hosting company crashed and rebuilt the server, minus a few components that had been rather critical for my particular blog. The MTAmazon stuff.)
