Have you ever searched for yourself online? Or for other people? I do all the time. (Both.)
And it turns out -- there are a lot of Tom Daltons out there!
It's interesting to see what other people have been doing with my name. I wonder if someone would ever search for me, though, and see one of these other people and confuse me. (Or, how would you say that? Because I won't be confused -- they will be confused, about who I am. See?) Anyway, to help prevent any future uncertainty, here's what I've seen:
================================
Tom Dalton -- the PHD and University Professor
================================
Apparently, this Tom Dalton works for San Diego university. There are some pictures that I *think* are of him, but his web page as linked from the University is a 404. There are a few pages with some projects by a Tom Dalton that I suspect is him. MSN, for instance, lists an incomplete message board program that has disclaimers all over it about it being a PHD project.
Seems like he was an accountant for a while, too, and there's a Tom Dalton who listed an email address at KPMG (accounting company) with a classic car. ('58 Plymouth Special!)
That's not me.
================================
Tom Dalton -- the runner
================================
Several sites talk about this guy, and you can even get pictures of him running from MSN. That's definitely not me.
================================
Kate and Tom
================================
I didn't marry a Kate -- I married April! So this guy, happy though I hope he is, is not me.
================================
Tom the Psychopath *UPDATED*
================================
Here's a quote from a Yahoo News discussion thread that came up the other day when I searched for myself:
"Apparently Tom Dalton has lost his mind, and now sees me as a target to harass."
I had to check, and make sure it wasn't actually me, going insane and harassing people. Because I did post once, on a Yahoo News discussion. But unless the person who posted this comment was Senator Orrin Hatch, I don't think it was really directed at me.
================================
Other Tom's I'm Not
================================
I've never lived in Nepal, and I've never purchased from Livewire. I'm not a police officer and I don't do music therapy management.
That's hardly an exhaustive list of things I'm not, but it should help any potential searchers decide who is me and who isn't.

Interesting article.. Seeing that Im noted in it.. I wasnt a PHD - Though Iam the closest thing to a psychopath.. As I was released from the Haddonfield Psychiatric Hospital in 2002.
Have a good day.
